The Menopause Reset: Learning to Honour Your Body Through the Stages of Menopause
Menopause is a time of transition, and with it can come a range of physical and emotional changes—fluctuations in energy, joint pain, fatigue, and shifts in body composition. These changes can make it feel like you’re constantly adapting to a new version of yourself, which can be both frustrating and overwhelming.
But what if, instead of trying to “push through” or resist these changes, you learned to work with your body?
That’s the focus of The Menopause Reset—a workshop designed to equip you with practical tools to support your body through perimenopause with strength, nourishment, and a holistic approach to movement and recovery.
What to Expect
📅 Date: 22nd March
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
💰 Cost: $120
👥 Limited to 15 participants
📍 2/43 Lang Parade, Milton
This workshop isn’t about “fixing” your body or pushing through exhaustion—it’s about understanding what’s happening internally, learning to listen to your body, and using movement, nutrition, and down regulation strategies to support your well-being in a way that feels good and is sustainable.
Strength Training in Perimenopause: A Compassionate Approach
(1-hour session with Elle de Wet, Accredited Exercise Physiologist)
Strength training is a powerful tool for navigating perimenopause, but it can also feel really challenging when you’re dealing with fatigue, joint pain, or hormonal shifts that impact recovery. The key is not just doing strength work, but doing it in a way that supports your body where it is right now.
During this session, Elle will explore:
✅ How menopause affects muscle mass, strength, and energy levels
✅ Why traditional exercise approaches may not always feel right (and what to do instead)
✅ Techniques to adapt strength training to accommodate fatigue and joint pain
✅ How to train in a way that is supportive, not exhausting, using a compassionate and intuitive approach
Strength training isn’t about pushing harder—it’s about working with your body, not against it. When approached through a guided, supported lens, it can help alleviate symptoms, improve energy, and rebuild confidence in movement.
Nourishment for Strength & Energy
(1-hour session with Angelique Clark, Perimenopause Dietitian, Advanced Physique Sports Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist)
Strength and recovery go hand in hand, and nutrition plays a huge role in how we feel and function during perimenopause. Many women experience shifts in body composition, but traditional dieting approaches don’t support the hormonal and metabolic changes that occur.
Angelique will explore:
🍎 How to fuel your body for energy, recovery, and strength training
🍎 Why perimenopause can make body composition feel like a struggle—and how to support your metabolism in a sustainable way
🍎 A size-inclusive, compassionate approach to eating for long-term health (not restriction)
This session will help you understand what your body needs to thrive—not just in the gym, but in your daily life.
Down Regulation: Learning to Work With Your Nervous System
(30-minute session with Elle de Wet)
Menopause can put your nervous system in a heightened state of stress. Many women feel constantly “on,” rushed, and wired, which makes recovery, digestion, and hormone regulation harder.
Down regulation isn’t just about meditation or stretching—it’s about learning how to shift out of a stress response even in the middle of everyday life.
Elle will guide you through:
🧘 Movement-based down regulation – Foam rolling, stretching, and gentle mobility to support recovery and relaxation
🧘 The power of small moments – How to reframe daily tasks (like cooking or showering) as opportunities to slow down and tune in, rather than rushing through them in a state of stress
🧘 How to regulate your nervous system throughout the day – So you’re not constantly running on adrenaline
Imagine turning something as simple as making dinner into a moment of calm, rather than another task to rush through. These small shifts can have a profound impact on stress levels, hormone balance, and energy.
Who is this workshop for?
If you’re experiencing shifts in energy, muscle tone, sleep, or overall well-being and want to feel more in tune with your body rather than at war with it, this workshop is for you.
